10 Scriptural Rules for a Happy Marriage
There are 10 counsels in the Bible that, if applied in marriage, help us to maintain a happy, lasting, and blessed relationship.

1. Never Remind Past Mistakes
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; Do not condemn and you will not be condemned; Let them go, and let them go. (Luke 6:37)

2. Neglect the whole world but not each other
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? (Mark 8:36)

3. Never go to sleep without a discussion
Be angry, and do not sin; Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. (Ephesians 4:26)

4. At least once a day, try to make a positive note to your spouse.
The benign tongue is a tree of life, but the wickedness in it depresses the spirit. (Proverbs 15: 4)

5. Never meet without an affectionate host
Kiss me with the kisses of his mouth; Because your love is better than wine. (Songs 1: 2)

6. “In wealth or in poverty …” Let each and every moment rejoice that God has provided them

Better is the food of greenery, where there is love, than the fatted ox, and with it hatred. (Proverbs 15:17)

7. If you can choose between making you or your spouse something good, choose your spouse
Do not neglect to do good to those who deserve it, being in your hands the ability to do so. (Proverbs 3:27)

8. If he is breathing, your spouse will eventually offend you. Learn to Forgive
Look for yourselves. And if your brother sins against you, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in the day, and seven times in the day cometh unto thee, saying, I repent; Forgive him. (Luke 17: 3-4)

9. Do not use faith, the Bible, or God to condemn
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17)

10. Let Love Be Your Guide
Love is suffering, it is kind, love is not envious. Love does not treat lightly, it is not puffed up. Do not behave with indecency, do not seek your own interests, do not be angry, do not suspect evil (1 Corinthians 13: 4-5)

These precious Biblical counsels were not written just to fill the Bible. They were written to show us the will of God and to be faithfully followed.
