11 Nigerian celebrities who found love on movie set

In the light of the recent love proposal from the popular singer Banky W, to the talented Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi which broke the social media last week and still trending till now, dailyfamily.ng will be focusing its searchlight on some union that were formed on movie set and their aftermath.
Here are a few work relationships that have led to marriage:
#1 Toyin Aimakhu and Adeniyi Johnson
The couple met on a movie location and from there, love took over them. Then Toyin was a senior colleague to Adeniyi in the industry but Adeniyi was older than her with 3 years. The couple first met and acted together in a movie titled “Oro Omo” by Funke Akindele (Jenifer), where Adeniyi acted as Toyin’s boyfriend.
Adeniyi later proposed to Toyin on December 31, 2012, on their way back from a movie location by Moji Olaiya. They got married in 2013 but later got divorced in 2015
#2 Iretiola and Patrick Doyle
Ireti met her love while working in a production company as a part-time staff where Patrick Doyle who is a veteran broadcaster was Ireti’s boss at that time. Just as people usually say one-thing-led-to-the-other and the two became husband and wife. They are blessed with beautiful children.
#3 Tchidi Chikere and Nuella Njugbigbo
Tchidi is a movie director and Nuella is an actress. The couple met on set and got married amidst lots of controversies on March 29, 2014.
#4 Gloria Anozie and Norbert Young
Like others, Gloria and Young also started their love journal from movie set. The duo got married in 2002 and still waxing strong till date.
#5 Gbenro Ajibade and Osas Ighodaro
Gbenro and Osas were both cast members on popular Africa Magic TV show, Tinsel. They got engaged in 2014. Gbenro played the role of Soji and Osas was Adanna on the show. They got married almost a year later in the United States.
#6 Chris Attoh and Damilola Adegbite
Just like Gbenro and Osas, Chris Attoh and Damilola Adegbite also met on the popular Africa Magic TV show, Tinsel. They played the roles of Kwame Mensah and Telema Duke respectively. They got married in 2015.
#7 Chacha Eke and Austin Faani
Chacha Eke and Austin Faani met on the set of ‘When Kings Decide’ in 2013 were Austin was the scriptwriter. The young later got married to her scriptwriter.
#8 Isaac and Nneka Moses
Isaac and Nneka Moses met on the set of a movie in 1996 and have looked so damn good on each other ever since. They look alike all the time we see them on their culture and tourism show, Goge Africa.
#9 Shina Peters and Clarion Chukwura
The couple met on the set of Ola Balogun’s hit movie ‘Money Power.’ Although their union did not last but the actress succeeded in raising one of the most talented video directors in Africa, Clarence Peters.
#10 Iyke Okechukwu and Florence Uwaleke
#11 Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva
No way we would have left the real relationship goals that Olu and Joke give us all the time. Olu met his beautiful wife at the casting of a Wole Soyinka novel – Jero’s Metamorphosis at the National Theatre and they’ve been living happily ever after since then. They are blessed with wonderful Children.
