At the plenary session of the Senate today, 1st March, the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki announced the names of the delegates who will be going to South Africa to probe the recent xenophobic attacks.

He said the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu will lead other Senate delegates on the trip. They will carry Nigeria’s message to South African parliament.

The names of other delegates are:

  1. Leader of the senate Senator Ahmad Lawan

2. Chief Whip Senator Sola Adeyeye

3. Senator Shehu Sani

4. Senator Stella Oduah

5. Senator Magnus Abe

6. Senator Shaba Lafiaji
