27-year-old Man arrested for impersonating Abba Kiyari

The Police has nabbed a 27-year-old man identified as Henry Ushie, a native of Bekwara LGA Cross River for online impersonation of Nigeria popular crime buster Abba Kyari.

Report gathered reveales that the suspect was nabbed yesterday, 3rd of November in Asaba, Delta state after a serious follow up by Assistant Commissioner of Police and head of the Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari.
The young man who impersonated Abba Kyari on Facebook had confessed to series of heinous crimes he committed in the bid of extorting innocent individuals of their valauble possession.

According to his confession, he said he has been posing on facebook as DIGs, AIGs, CPs, Ministers, SGF, MD Of Companies for 3 years.

The suspect also promised under false intention to get Jobs, postings and UN Peace Keeping Work for his victim’s who felt they were communicating with the prominent citizens whose pictures are usually displayed.

According to the suspect’s further confession, he said he was arrested in 2015 for the same Crime and was subsequently charged to court where he was eventually granted bail, only to be caught this time again as he wont desist from the heinous act.

The phone and sim cards plus the ATM Card of the Account he uses in defrauding innocent Citizens were recovered from him.

As at the time of this report, the police are yet to give a comprehensive report following his arrest.
