Budgeting at home need not be a difficult task. It is your money and you are just planning how to spend it. Nobody is pointing a gun at your head to perform, so relax and plan your future together. - HAVE A FAMILY VISION
“Where there is no vision the people perish, but he that keepth the law happy is he” . Proverbs 29:18
The concept of the word, vision, cannot be over flogged in matters of family finance. Without vision “people perish”. Mismanagement of money, life, other resources all culminating in a destitute destiny are offshoots of the absence of vision. Vision is not optional; it is mandatory because it determines your life. When you see people spending money today as if there is no tomorrow, what is lacking in them is a vision. When vision is lacking, everything goes wrong.
What is a vision? Vision is the power of seeing or engaging your imagination, looking ahead, and grasping the truth by the fact. It also means gaining insight into God’s plan. It is the unfolding of God’s program to an individual. Any family that will manage money rightly must first and foremost have a solid vision. Vision guides, leads and protects; without vision, people will truly perish. - BE PRUDENT
To be prudent means to be careful, wise and sensible by trying to avoid unnecessary risks. To be prudent in the way you handle money means you handle money sensibly, wisely and carefully. You don’t spend anyhow or take unnecessary risks. You spend with caution and handle your finances with deep understanding.

When couples are not prudent, they are into trouble and a very deep ditch of debt, poverty and penury.
