4 Killers of Love in Relationships

A healthy relationship is the dream of everybody but the truth is that it is not hereditary, it is not by accident, and rather it is a product of character. A Broken relationship is no longer new among brethren as it takes its toll on the church. These are some of the killers of love in a marriage.

1. Wrong Motive: If you go into a relationship for wrong reason you will get the wrong results which emanate from the wrong foundation. Some people go into a relationship because they need someone that will be cooking for them or washing their clothes while some people go into it because they want to escape from their parental control. All these are capable of destroying a relationship if their expectations are not met.

2. Selfishness: Relationship involves two people and if the relationship must succeed, the act of selfishness must be ejected. Nothing kills relationship more than selfish attitude, please stop being a parasite, stop looking for what to get in a relationship rather look for what to give.

3. Lack of Forgiveness: Forgiveness is a quality of a healthy believer. It is also a healing balm to hurtful hearts. A good relationship is not an absence of misunderstanding but the ability to forgive and forget easily without nursing its wound strengthens union, promotes love and better understanding. Lack of forgiveness kill love, your partner will definitely offend you, no man is perfect. Develop a heart that forgives, have a mind of Christ

4. Anger: It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and angry woman. Anger is a potent weapon through which the devil destroys many relationships. Your partner may decide to pull out of that relationship because of your anger please check yourself, deal with anger now before it deals ruthlessly with your marriage.

An angry man or lady is a murderer in the making.
