A 40-year-old man, identified as Balarabe Adamu has stabbed himself and jumped into a well on Tuesday at Rijiyar Zaki Quarters of Ungogo Local Government, Kano, official reports.
According to reports gathered, the reason for attempting suicide was yet unknown.
Speaking to Newsmen about the incident, Director of Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Mustafa Rilwan, spoke to newsmen that Adamu was saved from the well but died later at Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, Kano.
According to Alhaji Rilwan, he said that a neighbour informed the State Fire Service that Adamu had jumped inside the well after stabbing himself.

“Upon receiving the information, we quickly dispatched our security team and a vehicle to the scene at about 5 p.m.,’’ the fire service boss said.
Rilwan finally advised the public to put their trust in God.
