A 43-year-old man identified as Ini Udoh has been arrested by the Ogun State police for allegedly defiling three minors in Ijoko area of the state.
In a statement released by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect was said to have allegedly committed the crime at No 2, Agboola Close, off Ijoko in Sango Ota, within the same compound the parents of the victims reside.
The ages of the minors were said to be between 9 and 12 years.
He was said to have lured the minors into his room whenever his wife or the children’s parents were not at home in order to abuse them sexually.
However, the accused soon met his Waterloo when the mother of one of the girls noticed traces of sperm when washing her daughter’s pant.

This instantly led to a quick questioning by the mother, after which the girl confessed that Udoh had been having carnal knowledge of her all the while.
The father of the victim then reported the case to the police which eventually led to the arrest of Udoh.
The girls were reportedly taken to the hospital for medical attention, while the State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, was said to have ordered the transfer of Udoh’s case to the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the command for further investigation.
Illiyasu also used the privilege to warn parents to take the security of their children very serious especially the girl-child, so that they won’t become a prey of heinous act perpetrators like the suspected Udoh.
