Clothes are one of the few things a human being can not do without. The evolution of clothes at different times and seasons is what is known as fashion. People wear clothes to cover nakedness, to demonstrate class, display sense of fashion trends and to depicts professions. 5 Places You Are Not Permitted To Wear Your Personal Clothes

Despite all these good reasons for clothes, there are places you get to that you are not permitted to wear your personal clothes but the one given to you by the officials of those places. Are you puzzled? Read below:

#1 Operating Theatre: Recently, I was privileged to visit a hospital where a closed relative was due for a surgery. While preparing him for the operation, nurses on duty removed his clothes and put special clothes and a cap known as Hospital gown on him. Patients are given hospital gowns for easy access to any parts of their body as surgeons carry out an operation. Just as patients were not allowed to wear their normal clothes likewise Surgeons, Physicians, Nurses, and other assistants in an operating theatre are not allowed to wear T-shirts and other exposed clothes. They are to wear specialized clothes known as Scrubs, textile masks, and cap. The reason for the prohibition of normal clothes is because it attracts pathogens while Scrub was designed to enhance clean environments. theatre

#2 Prison: One of the main features that distinguish a prisoner from other members of the society is their clothes. Prison uniform provides a clear distinction between person incarcerated and individuals in the society. Regardless of the title or status of the person, once remanded in prison or convicted is bound to wear the prison uniform. I have seen presidents, nobles, celebrities, and power brokers being adorned with prison uniforms. The prison uniform is worn throughout the jail term. Prison uniform5 Places You Are Not Permitted To Wear Your Personal Clothes

#3 Courts: Another place where the participants are not allowed to wear only their normal clothes is the law court. In courts of law, Judges and Lawyers are not permitted to preside over a court proceeding with their mufti; it has to be in their law regalia. The court dress for judges and lawyers are robes and wigs/silk.lawyers uniform

#4 Football Pitch: In a football match, what differentiate the players from the spectators is their mode of dressing. On a football pitch, players are not allowed to wear normal clothes like jeans, shirt, suit, swimming trunk, native or religious attires. No matter how skilful a player may be, he is not legible to participate in a football match except he dresses in a player jersey and boots. This same rule goes to the linesman(assistant referee) and the referees. In fact, at all sporting events, there is a rule guiding what to wear and what not to wear.

#5 Mortuary: The last place on earth where no one is allowed to wear his normal clothes regardless of the riches, affluence, and popularity of that person is the Mortuary. 5 Places You Are Not Permitted To Wear Your Personal Clothes

Mortuary is a place where dead bodies are kept hygienically until the day of burial. It is also known as a morgue. Once a man breathes his last breath, his normal clothes will be removed from him and he is kept naked in the morgue until the day of burial.

Now that you still have the right to wear your normal clothes, avoid junk foods that may send you to operating theatre or to an early grave and avoid crimes that may qualify you for prison garment.

As for me, I value my normal clothes, so I will play by the rules.
