60-Year-Old Man Kills Son Over Cashew
A 60-year-old man, Hyacinth Ilo, has been exposed for killing his son, Izuchukwu Ilo, after a hot argument over a cashew nut production farm in Obinetiti Isikwe village, Oji River Local Government Area, Enugu State.

The father and son had an argument as regards the ownership of the Cashew nut production farm.
The spokesman, Enugu State Police command, SP Ebere Amaraizu revealed in a statement released that the incident occurred on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018.
He said: “Hyacinth Ilo, 60, allegedly had an argument with his son, Izuchukwu Ilo. In the ensuing argument over cashew nut ownership between them the father allegedly hit his son with a stick on the back of his head who immediately slumped and died. On noticing that he has died, the father went further to bury him in a shallow grave inside his compound.’’
SP Ebere Amaraizu added that the man had been arrested by the police and investigation is also on-going over the murder case.
