Living in an industrialized area has lots benefits, for example, it brings about modernization and improvement of a particular area. Business owners in this kind of environment are considered fortunate as they have a huge number of customers most time. Apart from the benefits of living in an industrialized environment, living in this type of environment has some negative effects too.

Here are some negative effects of living in an industrialized area:

Loneliness
During the day, being in an industrialized area can be fun as everywhere is busy with people moving about but as soon as those working in that environment closes, the area becomes dull and empty. Weekends in this kind of environment can also be very lonely when the workers are not around.

Health risk
The health of those living in an industrialized area is at a very high risk. Industrial wastes like the smoke some machines emits can be dangerous to people’s health, the vibration from industrial plants is also very dangerous and can lead one to be at risk of different kinds of diseases both at present and in the future.

Security risk
Living in an industrialized area can expose one to a lot of security risks like robbery, kidnapping, murder and so on. This is caused by the emptiness and quietness that pervades the area at night and weekends when workers are not around.

Children abuse
Children in this kind of environment are exposed to danger because as they can easily fall victim of evil deeds of some criminals that may be around such places especially when there is no work and the area is not busy.

No Agriculture
Industries produce chemicals and waste that destroys bacteria that benefit the soil and this will not allow agriculture to thrive in such environment. If you are leaving in an industrialized area you will find it difficult to grow your plants as the soil is not conducive for such practice.

Bad food
Foods produced in an industrialized area are not healthy; they contain chemicals, radionuclides that are dangerous for the body. Eating this food over time will eventually lead to bad health conditions in the future.

Water-borne disease
Industrial outflow damages the natural purification process of sewage systems which can cause water-borne diseases like cholera and typhoid fever.
