7 poses you need to abolish to be happy
Often we complicate our own lives with totally dispensable attitudes, that is, that could be avoided for our peace. We seem to be on autopilot and we do not analyze what we have done in our lives until something deeply affects us.
It is almost always the pain that inspires us to reflect on the necessary changes. But it does not have to be so, articles like these are intended to awaken their readers to the importance of turning everything that is harmful to them.
Abolishing these postures will make your life much easier and you will certainly feel much happier:
1. Need to be always right
Being right is always a dangerous and arrogant illusion. Dangerous because it is a very large load to be charged, which can lead to losses of all kinds. And arrogant because nobody has that ability. Stop being the “owner of the truth” and accept the challenge of learning.
2. Limiting Beliefs
During life we are accumulating beliefs like “it’s impossible”, “I can not” or something. So it is necessary, from time to time, to revise our beliefs and to give up all those that prevent us from being and doing what is best for ourselves and for those around us.
3. Complain
Stop moaning about people, about life, about everything … The way you face the various situations is that you produce your feelings. Cultivating positive thoughts, being optimistic and seeking the best of everything and everyone is a guarantee of serenity and well-being.
4. Criticizing and blaming others
Criticisms and judgments are potent consumers of positive energy, while compassion is generative. Take on your responsibilities and give up blaming others and making excuses for your failures. As I wrote in this article : “Compassion is a virtue that makes us more human, able to build good relationships and serenity in the soul.”
5. Living the Past
The past is only for reference, we do not live there anymore. To let go of what has already passed is to get rid of hurts and guilts, an exercise in forgiving yourself and others. Getting rid of the past is an act of liberation that enables one to experience the new and to evolve.
6. Need to impress others
Concern for criticism from others is one of the greatest sources of anxiety and depression. Remember that you do not need to please everyone, you just need to give their best ever. Recognizing your own efforts is that it will bring you the feeling of duty fulfilled, the rest is useless waste of time and health.
7. Resist change
Believe: change is very good! What makes one resist change is the fear of new, pure insecurity. You have to choose to change everything that is not good or that can improve, get out of the comfort zone and act on behalf of yourself and how many you can inspire. In nature everything is in motion, this is our essence.
If you identify one or more of these postures in your behavior, start urgently the work of changing. Recalling this phrase “Beware, life is too short to be small.”
Happiness is a very good feeling, not worth being postponed!
