7 study skills your child needs to develop
Children need to learn to have the habit and the taste for study. According to reports and research, it has been observed that the growing number of students now do not want anything to do with education. What is more, social media has become the order of the day and this has eradicated the way they behave and adopt several traditions in school and beyond.

The goal of learning not to know only the next day is to learn for life. If you look at the image of a brain you will notice basically three structures: I Cerebellum, II Limbic System and III cortex.

I Cerebellum
To record something in the cerebellum, which is the part of our brain that records and from which we never learn what we learn, we need to practice more, write, repeat. It takes longer to fix this part, but once it is recorded it will never be forgotten, where at last there is what we call learning. Example: Learning to ride a bicycle.

II Limbic System
In this part of the brain it is very easy to record something, it is a very small memory that records and erases information very easily. It’s like a draft, a temporary memory. Everything we learn goes through this memory.

III Cortex
In this part of our brain, only some new information is recorded when we sleep. And what has been passed on to this part we have never forgotten, where finally takes place what we call learning for a lifetime.

Much of what we learn is chosen by an emotional rather than a rational routine. This is why we are easier to learn when we like the subject or when we have a certain affinity with the teacher.

7 study skills your child needs to develop
1. Lecture given, the class studied should all happen in a day.

2. Studying little, but every day. Studying by writing on a sheet, summarizing what you are studying, reading. Only in this way, by writing, do we register in our brain.

3. Create the habit of studying in the day. If your child studies in the morning, if he usually sleeps in the afternoon, let him sleep a maximum of 15 minutes after lunch. More than this, it is advised that much can be lost because information can be lost before it is fixed in our brain.

4. Study before you spend a night’s sleep.

5. Avoid studying the day before the test.

6. Reduce time in your child’s virtual world.

7. Create pleasure in reading. Stimulate the pleasure by reading. This taste can only be developed by reading until you discover a kind of reading that pleases you, but you can only discover it by trying. So do not give up. If you did not arouse that taste, it is because you did not find your kind of book.

With all these points make sure your children study, read and write.
