The six-year-old boy is suffering from epilepsy, a condition that affects his vocal ability, causes abnormal impulses through the central nervous system and also incessant convulsions. At his age, he cannot walk properly and experience pain in his body most times because of the injury he sustains anytime he falls.

Keith condition started when he was six months old which appeared to be a bacterial infection, after administering a lot of antibiotics and his condition didn’t improve his mother sought help at the health facility in Bugolobi and he was later transferred to Nsabya hospital, Uganda for better treatment.

Series of tests was carried out on the boy including that of meningitis which they suspected earlier and his condition stabilized for a while before he started experiencing stunted growth and repeated seizures.

An MRI scan was done and the neurologist confirmed that Keith was suffering from epilepsy. This result was very disturbing for the family of the boy as they had to go through years of hardship. His mother who was working with Micro Uganda Ltd had to leave her job in 2012 to take care of her son.
