“I want to retire on a winning note”- Usain Bolt confirms his retirement plans

The Jamaican sprinter and eight-time Olympic gold medalist, Usain Bolt has confirmed his retirement plans.
The Jamaican reveals his retirement plans today ahead of his final race in August.The World Championships take place from August 4 to August 13 at the London Stadium.
The men’s 100m final is due to take place on August 5 while the men’s 4x100m relay takes place on the following Saturday.
“My aim is to win in London. I want to retire on a winning note,” he said.
Bolt unprecedented ‘triple triple’ of nine gold medals was downgraded to eight after Jamaican team-mate Nesta Carter, who was part of the quartet that won the 4x100m in Beijing, tested positive for a banned substance.
Bolt raced for the final time on home soil last month, clocking 10.03 seconds to win the ‘Salute a Legend’ 100m.
Bolt is currently preparing to compete in the 100m in the Diamond League in Monaco on Friday.
Bolt has won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m gold at the past three Olympic Games.
Usain Bolt is currently the fastest human in the world and the first person to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records since fully automatic time became mandatory.
