Advantages of Natural Family Planning
Natural family planning method is the type of birth control that uses natural signs in a woman to identify fertility periods so as to avoid pregnancy. In this type of family planning, a sign like a body temperature of the woman is important to see if she is likely to get pregnant at the moment or not.
This method is divided into two ways; the first is avoiding sex when the woman is in her fertile periods and the other is the lactational amenorrhoea method when the woman is in the first six months after delivery. In this period menstrual period is likely to cease and so she is not likely to get pregnant.
Here are the advantages of Natural planning method:
# Natural family planning is safer than other means of family planning because chemicals and hormones are not involved. It has no side-effects as there is no chemical application.
# Method on fertility can be used by most women if they are educated about it properly.
# Natural family planning does not need the help of healthcare provider any further as long as the woman has been taught about noticing her body changes properly.
# When lactational amenorrhoea is used, sex does not have to be avoided for the period of at least six months.
# Natural family planning can be reversed easily as the woman can get pregnant whenever she desires to be unlike other family planning methods that have side effects and may delay pregnancy.
# Natural family planning helps a woman to quickly notice any hormonal change in her body and abnormal vaginal discharge that may affect her health.
