The first lady of Nigeria and wife of the President Muhammadu Buhari, Mrs Aisha Buhari, have donated some set of foodstuff and relief materials on Monday to flood victims in Benue state.
The first lady made the donation at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, situated at International Market Makurdi.
Speaking about her visit to the camp, the first lady said who was represented by the wife of Nassarawa state governor, Mrs Mairo Al-Makura said she was in the state to identify with the victims of the flood.

Mrs Al-Makura also said the first lady is sending more relief materials which are on the way. She said that the relief materials were to assist the IDPs and also to facilitate their recovery from the trauma caused by the flood.
Reports gathered indicated that the wife of the President donated a total of 279 cartons of 3 in 1 Gari, Sugar and Milk, 50 cartons of Onga seasoning, 600 packs of rice and 400 cartons of beverages.
