Today for us at Dailyfamily.ng is not a twins day or the day in which we celebrate stories of multiple births but then, we seem to be overwhelmed with some amazing stories of multiple births which we think should grace our front page.
You will recall in the year 2001, Nigeria recorded the birth of Africa’s first set of quintuplet in a neighbourhood in Benin City, Edo State.

At first when the news of their birth went viral, it overwhelmed the belief of many hearers and some wouldn’t believe until they set their eyes on these amazing set of children who came forth from the family of the Nwankwos hale and healthy.
The quintuplet up until now brought great joy not just to Emokaro street in Benin city where they were born but also to but to most cities that heard their amazing birth story in the country.
Amazingly the quintuplets shared the same big eye-balls. They looked alike as they ran from mum to dad and grandma, laughing. The day of their birth was one of joy and felicitation. And like you will expect, celebration was in the air for the quintuplets on their first birthday.
At the home of the Nwankwos on Emokaro Street, at the Etete Area of Benin City, friends, neighbours and well wishers will often gather annually at every January 10 to thank the Almighty God in a very big way, for sparing the lives of the quintuplets who bear such names as Goodness (or First Lady) Allwell, Miracle, Praise and Favour.
Amazingly the set of quintuplets has continued to beat the odds and just three days ago, they clocked 17.
