Amazing! Genevieve’s Lionheart becomes First Nigerian Movie Acquired by Netflix

Lionheart is the first Nigerian movie to be bought by Netflix, even before its released date.

Netflix is an American over-the-top media services provider, whose primary business is its subscription-based streaming service. It offers online streaming of a library of films and television programs including those produced in-house.

The movie also marks Genevieve’s first shot at directing and it would be premiering at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival this month.

Lionheart is an inspiring drama about family values, succession, and most importantly, female empowerment. It highlights the various challenges faced by women, particularly in male-dominated industries.
