Rt Rev. (Dr) Emmanuel Oko-Jaja, a Bishop of Niger Delta West Diocese, has spoken against allowing couples to kiss in the during their wedding service in the church and called for a ban of such act.

The clergyman who said this while delivering his sermon at the St Mark’s Anglican Church, Biogbolo in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on Sunday, December 9th stressed that such an act promotes immorality and corrupts the mind of teenagers that are in church to witness what is supposed to be a holy solemnization.

According to the scriptures, the church is not supposed to serve as a place meant to promote immorality but encourage people to uphold and practice Christian virtues with a view to winning souls for Christ.” he said
