A Lagos nightclub promptly updated its LED welcome banner after actress Annie Macaulay objected to being addressed as "Annie Idibia."
The actress, who is currently estranged from her husband, singer Innocent "2Baba" Idibia, shared videos on her Instagram Stories showing the initial banner displaying "Welcome Annie Idibia." In the clip, Annie and her friends can be heard expressing disapproval.
"No Idibia," a friend captioned the original video.
Annie reposted it with a simple "Hummm."
In a follow-up video, club staff are seen raising the corrected banner that now reads "Welcome Annie Macaulay."
"Correct," Annie wrote as she shared the updated version, signalling her approval.
The incident highlights Annie's preference to use her maiden name, Macaulay, amid her ongoing separation from the music icon.
