According to reports from Idoma Voice Newspaper, members of the bride's family allegedly turned aggressive, assaulting the DJ with broken bottles and other dangerous objects.
He sustained severe head injuries in the chaos, desperate for protection, he ran into the bride's father's room seeking refuge, but was pushed out and left vulnerable to further attacks.
Friends and bystanders eventually rescued him, rushing him to a hospital where he received treatment, his loved ones keeping vigil at his bedside.
