Ayo Labinjoh, a mother from Nigeria, has shared a heartfelt plea for clear answers about a child's identity. She says her daughter, whom she calls Anu, has struggled for years with questions about her paternity linked to singer Davido, and recent online drama has brought old pain back to the surface.
Labinjoh explains that her daughter has been deeply hurt by public comments and bullying. 'My daughter cried for days, fainted in school and went through psychotherapy', she shared. The young girl, described as tech savvy and intelligent, has had to protect herself by keeping a very private life with no close friends discussing her family at school.
Feeling that previous tests were not fair, Labinjoh says Davido is a US citizen and has made threats in recent messages. In response, she is turning to official channels for help. 'I will request the US State Department to contact the Embassy in Lagos or Abuja to help us supervise and witness a clean independent DNA test,' she stated firmly.
