A family in Ogun State has raised alarm over what it describes as ongoing demolition attempts on its property in Sango, despite a subsisting court injunction restraining such action.

The family called on the Ogun State Government (OGSG) and the Ministry of Environment to immediately halt the exercise and respect the rule of law.
According to reports by Independent Nigeria, the dispute centres on a property in Sango where officials allegedly moved in to carry out demolitions in defiance of a court order.
The affected family insisted that the court had already issued an injunction stopping any form of demolition pending the determination of the case.
However, they claim enforcement agents have continued to threaten and attempt to pull down structures on the land.
They described the situation as distressing, warning that such actions could undermine public trust in legal institutions and escalate tensions within the community.
The development comes amid growing concerns over demolition exercises in parts of Nigeria, with critics repeatedly urging authorities to prioritise due process and human rights.
