A man in his sixties allegedly arranged and profited from his wife's sexual services selling access to her for more than three years starting January 2022.

The wife in her fifties endured what prosecutors describe as large scale ruthless exploitation until she found the courage to report him to police in late October leading to his immediate arrest and ongoing custody.
Prosecutor Ida Annerstedt revealed the staggering scope investigators identified about 120 men suspected of purchasing sexual services from the wife though not all may face charges in the main case.
"He is suspected of having facilitated or profited financially from the sale of the complainant's sexual services" Annerstedt told AFP and The Associated Press.
She emphasized the husband's alleged role in promoting or benefiting from the acts charging him with aggravated procuring under Swedish law which criminalizes buying sex and pimping while decriminalizing selling.
The investigation explores additional offenses but details remain guarded pending formal charges expected soon.
