In a quiet village in Nasarawa State, little Jeremiah Bikwo, just eight years old, went missing. For his family in Ogobo Village, Loko, those days were filled with worry and sleepless nights. But thanks to determined police officers, Jeremiah is now safe in protective custody, and the people who took him are behind bars.
The breakthrough came on January 14 when police received information that Jeremiah was safe with officers in Abia State. The brave boy told investigators he was from Loko in Nasarawa. Detectives quickly travelled across states to piece the story together.
A police source shared the heartbreaking details with security analyst Zagazola Makama: “Detectives then extended their inquiries to Abia State, where it was discovered on January 17 that the victim had been sold for N3 million.”
