A Nigerian woman, Nneomah Abraham, has revealed that her marriage has come to an end, just three weeks after she gave birth to her first child.

In a video shared online, she was seen carrying her baby on her back, standing outside her house with her luggage packed beside her, as she explained that she would be returning to her father's house on August 2.
She spoke about the toll the situation had taken on her before reaching the decision.
"Mentally stressed, emotionally stressed and also physically stressed," she said, adding firmly, "I'm done for good."
Sharing a photo of herself with her newborn on Facebook, Nneomah reflected on how far things had come since she first announced her union two years ago.
"12th May 2024, when I got married, I came online here to announce that I am finally taking," she wrote.
She went on to confirm that the marriage had officially ended just weeks after the birth of her child.
"And I am here again to tell you all that the marriage ended on 2nd August," she wrote.
Nneomah was also quick to clarify that the separation was not the result of any abuse in the relationship.
"Marriage is not a do-or-die affair, and please, there was nothing like physical violence," she said.
In her caption accompanying the video, she reflected on her efforts to keep the marriage together despite the difficulties she faced.
"I tried to make it work but I couldn't," she wrote.
