In a stirring message delivered on Sunday, February 1, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God headquarters in Lagos, Pastor Enoch Adeboye unveiled a comforting truth that left many in the congregation reflecting deeply.

The General Overseer described God’s promises as an unmatched “divine insurance” policy, far superior to any earthly plan, yet conditional on one simple but profound act: obedience.
Church Times Nigeria reported the heartfelt sermon that blended encouragement with gentle challenge.
“Let nobody deceive you. The summary of all Jesus’ teachings is that nothing goes for nothing. You have to pay your premium if you want God’s divine cover. Jesus says give, and it shall be given to you. Salvation is free because Jesus paid for it,” Adeboye declared.
He made it clear that the “premium” means full obedience to God’s principles, pointing believers to Deuteronomy 28 as the foundation. “The premium is to obey God’s command, which is doing what He asked you to do. You cannot access that insurance cover if you’re not paying your premium,” he emphasized.
He spoke of peaceful sleep as a special gift, “There is no insurance for sleep. I have not seen such. God is the only one that can give you sleep. Not only does He provide for you, He gives you cover for sleep".
“You can have everything and still not be satisfied,” he noted warmly.
Turning to Psalm 23 and Psalm 91 perfect templates for God’s comprehensive policy, extending to guidance and wisdom whenever needed. “God gives you insurance that covers you when you need advice. You don’t need to worry. If you need wisdom, you just ask. He has insurance for everything you need.”
