Armed bandits have abducted three Qur'an memorizers from the same family in Niger State, holding them captive for over three weeks and now demanding N8 million ransom with a chilling four-day ultimatum to pay or face execution.

Security analyst Bakatsine disclosed the incident, revealing the victims were intercepted along the route to Kotonkoro in Mariga Local Government Area while traveling to attend an event.
The family members, dedicated to preserving and reciting the holy Qur'an, were taken into the bush by the kidnappers who have since communicated their demands through intermediaries.
They have been in the custody of their captors for more than three weeks.
The bandits are said to be demanding a ransom of N8 million and have issued a four-day ultimatum for payment or the victims will be unalived.
