TikTok creator Pax, known online as @oujibug, receiving care for type 1 diabetes, her blood sugar level reaching 700 and her A1C test result measured 14 was when a nurse asked whether she had diabetes, but Pax said no - an answer that might have been fatal.

This followed her complaint of severe leg pain that brought her to the emergency room.
On February 20, 2026, Pax shared the TikTok video from her hospital bed where she explained that she had exceedingly severe leg pain but was nervous about visiting the ER because of the possible cost.

The video quickly went viral after showing the unexpected medical events that unfolded.
Doctors at the ER were extremely concerned about her condition, prompting them to performed many tests and asked “How are you still alive?” according to the content creation.
Pax recalled her confusion as even more tests were ordered, including a CT scan.
A doctor told Pax, “I’m surprised you’re not unresponsive. I’m surprised you walked in here yourself.” Eventually Pax was taken to a nearby hospital for diagnosis and care.
“They stuck my ass on an ambulance and sent me to the hospital. Because apparently, that was deadly,” she said.
After more tests at the hospital, doctors determined Pax had type 1 diabetes.
The creator recounted, “They were poking and jabbing and stabbing, they’ve taken so much blood from me. They’ve given me so much insulin, it’s very concerning.”
Pax said in the video that she would be allowed to go home when her blood sugar lowers to an appropriate amount. The events took place in a Texas hospital and the nearby transfer facility earlier in February 2026. The video captured every step from her initial leg pain complaint through the tests and treatment.
