Joanne, a mother’s casual glance in the CCTV, while breastfeeding her newborn in her home, turned into a fearsome moment when she saw her two‑year‑old son outside in heavy rain, far from where she thought he was.
The mum told TUKO that she was upstairs while it poured heavily outside, with her other children and their nanny downstairs, assumed everyone was safe indoors until she looked at her live CCTV footage and saw her toddler roaming in the compound.
Startled, Joanne raced downstairs to confirm what she had seen and discovered that her son had indeed slipped out through the back door and stood in the rain for several minutes.
Her older children and the nanny had been looking for him, unaware he was outside.
