Aseyin of Iseyin Land and Chairman, Conference of Obas and Chiefs of Oke Ogun, Oyo State, Oba Dr. Abdulganiyy Adekunle Salau, Oloogunebi Ajinese I, has requested for the sustenance of existing peace among all religions in Oke Ogun.
The traditional ruler made this appeal in his Christmas message to all Christians in Oke Ogun as they joined their brethren in the world to mark 2017 Christmas.
The statement was made available to Journalists on Tuesday which is boxing day.
In the statement, the monarch urged Christians in Oke Ogun to use the opportunity made available by the festive period to pray for peace and unity of the nation.
The traditional ruler thanked God for the lives of every son and daughter of Oke Ogun both at home and in the Diaspora while praying that they shall all live long to mark numerous years on earth.
He equally urged Christians to pray for rapid growth and development of every town in Oke Ogun in every sphere of life.
