Africa’s best female footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala have not forgotten her root as she took her recently won award to Mushin where she grew up.

The Dalian Quanjian FC player was chosen as the best female football player in Africa during the CAF award 2017. She emerged winner after beating Cameroonian Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene and South Africa‘s Chrestina Kgatlana.

Oshoala, who arrived Nigeria just after the award ceremony, took her award to where she grew up in Mushin area of Lagos and took pictures with her neighbours, fans and friends.
