The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Primary Health Center located at Oritshe Ikeja is set to start full operation in December 2017.

This was made known by one of the health officials who were at the health center today, November 23rd 2017 during the celebration of the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health week.

The senior health official answered the question asked by a woman at the program. The woman asked why the health center was not opened sometimes when they need to access it for treatments.

The senior health official said: “Before the middle of December, operations will begin fully.”

She spoke about the reason for the delay in the operation, she said: “Everything is ready; we just have to be sure of the security.”

The wife of Ikeja Local Government Chairman, Mrs Balogun Abigail also confirmed to dailyfamily.ng that the health center will begin operation before the end of the year.

She said: “We want the center to be opened, as we have promised before the end of this year, we are going to open it permanently so that people can have easy access to the health facilities.

All the equipments have been bought; we only want to be sure of the security before they continue to operate. Apart from that we don’t have any challenges, anybody that needs healthcare, they can come to this place, they will see personnel to attend to them and there will be results.”
