Man City’s Sergio Aguero may miss the match against Chelsea tomorrow as he was reportedly said to have been involved in an auto crash in Netherlands on Thursday.
A confirmed report claimed that the 29-year-old striker and Argentine player suffered a rib fracture after the taxi he was travelling with collided with a pillar.
The Dutch Police in an interview with Sky Sports reported that two undisclosed people involved in the accident with Man city striker have been rushed immediately to the nearest hospital.
Manchester City Football Club in a statement confirmed the accident. It reads: “Sergio Aguero will be assessed by club doctors today [Friday] after being involved in a road accident on Thursday.

According to reports from Manchester Evening News, it was gathered that the 29-year-old was in Amsterdam to watch Colombian singer Maluma perform.
“The City forward was in Holland on his day off and has sustained injuries.”
“He will return to Manchester this morning and his status will be checked ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Chelsea.”
Aguero had earlier posted a picture of himself with Colombian singer Maluma on his Instagram account. He was understood to have been attending Maluma’s concert frequently before the day of the accident.
Meanwhile, Man city seem to have been diplomatic at the way they handled the news of his accident. In a recent Instagram post, the club boasted of Aguero’s victory, posting the goals he scored, league position and last premier league fixture win.

A former Man City forward, Trevor Sinclair told BBC radio: “The news that came in about Mendy was a big blow. Now, to hear this news, about Sergio Aguero, it’s such a blow for the City fans to hear.
“He’s been absolutely sensational. He looks like he’s completely given himself to Pep Guardiola’s philosophy.
“He looks like he’s enjoying it and he’s playing with a smile on his face. It was all looking swimmingly well for Manchester City.”
