Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki has announced officially his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Bukola Saraki made the announcement public in the tweet he shared on his Twitter handle today, July 31st 2018.
He wrote:
“I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
The Senate President has however not made known the next political party which he will be joining.
