Nigerian’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki has been appointed as the new National Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Bukola Saraki Appointed As New PDP National
Just a day after the defection of Bukola Saraki from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP, the Senate President was appointed the Leader at the National Executive Council’s meeting on August 2nd 2018.
The PDP National Executive Council’s meeting was attended by other leaders that defected from the ruling APC party to the PDP which include.
Aminu Tambuwal, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Samuel Ortom and Bukola Saraki were all welcomed with joy back to the People’s Democratic Party.

The appointment of Bukola Saraki as the National Leader replaces the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu who held the position until Saraki’s defection.
