A roof of an uncompleted building has just been blown off by a heavy rainfall in Lagos.
This occured at Olalowo Street in Agboyi Local Council Development Area of Lagos.
The heavy downpour which began around 2:pm started with a striking thunder, smattering lighting and a powerful wind which blew off the building roof.
Speaking with Dailyfamily.ng, an eyewitness said he has never seen such an incidence before, stressing that the building was roofed yesterday.
“It like have never seen such an incident before, the wind carried the iron sheet up high into the sky like a kite”
“That building was just roofed yesterday, I wonder what the carpenter would say to the owner as an excuse for the incidence”
Meanwhile some of the residents in the neighborhood called on the Lagos State Government to come and help them to clear the Canal in the area in order to aid easy flow of flood.
“We want the Lagos state government to come and help to clear the canal in our area so that there won’t be flood on our street”
