Buhari commiserates with Aregbesola over mother’s death
President Buhari, on Tuesday, commiserated with Governor Aregbesola over the death of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola through a telephone call.
The President who has been away for about 3 months for medical treatment, expressed sympathy with Aregbesola.
In a statement signed by the president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, Buhari described Aregbesola mother “as a great woman who was a pillar of discipline to her children,’’
According to Shehu, President Buhari said the matriarch of the Aregbesola family deserved great honour for “the sacrifices she made to bring up her children on the path of sound moral character and commitment to good reputation.’’
Shehu Garba also revealed that President Buhari said the governor’s mother contributed immeasurably to the building of a respectable pedigree for her family by raising disciplined and humble children like Governor Aregbesola.
The Change administration leader prayed that Allah would bless her soul and reward all her good deeds with paradise, and also comfort the family she left behind.
Similarly, Delta state Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa also commiserated with Aregbesola over his mother who kicked the bucket at the early hours of Tuesday aged 84.
