Liverpool has mercilessly humiliated Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday night.
Liverpool defeated City by 3-0 which now makes the league more challenging for Pep Guardiola’s men as they will really need a miracle next Tuesday at The Etihad, where they will be hosting Liverpool n the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Mohammed Salah continued his sensational run of form with the opener, latching onto a loose ball in City’s defence and firing past Ederson.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made it 2-0 with a brilliant strike from distance. Sadio Mane added a third goal just a few minutes to the end of the first half.
