After hearing accusations from their wives that their church pastors were engaging in adultery and watching pornography, the church head summoned his clergy to order.

The behaviour of some ordained ministers, which was brought to his attention by a number of ministers’ spouses, is extremely upsetting to the church and needs to stop, according to Reverend Ili Vunisuwai, president of the Methodist Church of Fiji.

The claims of infidelity and pornographic viewing, according to Reverend Vunisuwai, have left him quite unhappy, he told his ministers.

He continued by saying that his ministers ought to set an example for society’s protection of women and children.

The effect of social media and contemporary technologies was blamed by Reverend Vunisuwai.

He continued by saying that the church has created a plan of action to address these issues and that any participating clergy in these blasphemous acts will be held accountable.

We have a solid structure for it, and the church has all of our officers present, from the top to the bottom, he told his ministers.

Through that method, we can reduce the number of crimes on the rise; all that is left is to let people know how truly concerned we are about the escalating violence and other problems.
