Following the recent upsurge of crime and the acceleration of Jungle justice in the Ikorodu axis of Lagos, Nigeria, The police have warned both those living in Ikorodu and those visiting to make sure they have a valid ID Card.
According To The Spokesperson of The Lagos Police Command, Olarinde Famous-cole, it is important to wear or carry valid ID to avoid been lynched by angry mobs who are bent on protecting their communities from the activities of the dreaded Badoo cult group or from been arrested by the Police who have intensified their search for members of the cult group.
In the last few weeks, Ikorodu has become a dangerous axis to dwell or visit with the activities of the Badoo cult group who are constantly turning to a nightmare and the jungle justice been meted out to purported members of the gang by residents who have vowed to avenge the death of their community members.
The Police PRO advise Residents and Lagosians generally to eschew violence, stop jungle justice and be vigilant
