Common excuses men give for beating up their wives

Nowadays, it is common that men beat up their wives but all these men have one thing or the other to say or complain about that led them into the act. Most of the excuses men give centers on the fact that some attitudes of their wives they couldn’t cope it. Below are some of the excuses:
1. Arrogance: men are easily irritated when their wives are not submissive and can’t be controlled easily. When this attitude happens over time, it may lead a man to hit his wife.
2. Talking too much/loosed mouth: when a woman talks too much or has a loose mouth especially talking with neighbors or outsiders unnecessarily; it may irritate the man and lead to his beating her.
3. Attachment to another man: a man may beat his wife when he notices that she is becoming too close to a particular man or she loves to discuss more with another man.
4. Nagging: women that love complaining regularly about the same things, especially about their husbands, may have their husbands to beat them.
5. Food: men love their foods to be ready at the appropriate time; when this is delayed regularly, it can make the man hit his wife.
6. Improper dressing: the joy of every man is that he owns his wife to himself, improper dressing in women sends a signal of infidelity to men and this feeling of insecurity leads some men to beat their wives especially if she refuses to change after being warned.
7. Dirtiness: untidiness of the house or the dirtiness of the woman’s body can make a man beat his wife.
8. Laziness: the inability of a woman to perform some of her duties or chores in the house is another reason some men beat up their wives.
9. Lack of respect for in-laws: when a woman disrespects her husband’s family especially his parent or sibling regularly; it can provoke her husband to beat her.
10. Lack of proper care for the children: men love their children, and hold their wellbeing as very important. When a child is not well taken care of, men blame their wives more for it and may beat her when anything wrong happens to their child.
11. Lack of sexual satisfaction: sex is one major thing men don’t joke within marriage. If a woman gives her husband excuse for no sex regularly he may feel another man is satisfying her sexually and this may lead him to beat her.
All men should know that there is no excuse genuine enough to beat their wives. Whatever that is wrong in the marriage can be resolved without beating or domestic violence but with genuine love and understanding.
