CRYSTAL PALACE RUN RIOT AT SELHURST PARK
Arsenal Football Club might lose out of top 4 for the first time in Arsene Wenger’s 21 years in charge. The Gunners were pummeled by Sam Allardyce men in an emphatic fashion.
Crystal Palace was dominant in the first fifteen minutes of the game as they have a more effective play on the ball which is a testament to the first goal. Arsenal also had the ball and missed some glaring chances.
Gunners struggled to deal with the long balls and showed a lot of frailties at the back though still have three games in hand to get back into the back four but are not looking pretty at all.
Andros Townsend found the back of the net with a lovely ball from Cabaye in the 17th minute, Wilfried Zaha’s low ball finds Cabaye who curls a lovely effort over Martinez for the second goal while the third goal was scored from the penalty spot by Luka Millivojevic as Arsenal goalkeeper fouled Andros Townsend.
An awful performance tonight from Arsene Wenger’s men as they were outplayed by the host. Wilfried Zaha definitely having a good season as he was a thorn in the flesh for Arsenal’s defenders down the right flank, no surprises at all that he is man-of-the-match.
This victory tonight have seen Palace move six points clear of the bottom three on the premier league table. Great Performance from the Eagles as they deserved this victory, they know what they wanted and went for it.
With this inconsistency in the Arsenal team and with eight games to go Arsenal might find it difficult to make the top four.
