A 12-year-old boy in Asaba has allegedly robbed and killed his landlady at Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, was among those paraded for various offences by the state Police Command, yesterday. Cult Initiation: 12-year-old boy kills Landlady

According to a media briefing, the State Commissioner of Police, Zanna Mohammed said the teenager confessed to having committed the crime. He said that a cult group told him one of the conditions for his initiation into the group is to have once committed a criminal act. Mohammed also briefed reporters on the arrest of over 60 murderers, kidnappers, robbers, ritualists, and cultists arrested in the last three weeks.

Ibrahim also revealed that one of the kidnap suspects, Sa’adu Alhaji, a citizen of Niger Republic, resident at Okpanma community, arrested by the Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime Squad, SAKCCS, in conjunction with men of Eagle Vigilante groups of Abraka Market, Asaba, over his complicity in most kidnap cases within Asaba and its environs.   Cult Initiation: 12-year-old boy kills Landlady

The suspect was connected to the kidnapping syndicates operated by suspected herdsmen and an ally of Musa Mohammed, alias Musa 1000, earlier arrested by the police.    Cult Initiation: 12-year-old boy kills Landlady

Rivers State Police Command, also said yesterday, that it has killed three suspected robbers and rescued nine kidnap victims in different operations in the state.  Cult Initiation: 12-year-old boy kills Landlady

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, disclosed that the nine persons rescued were abducted last two weeks from a commercial bus in Ogba in Ndoni Local Government Area of the state.
