A rival cults violence has led to the death of three suspected cultists at Somolu, Lagos Mainland on Tuesday.

Reports have it that members of the Eiye and Aye cult groups had spoiled for war earlier on Tuesday morning but were dispersed by policemen, who got information about it.

Those killed include leader of Eiye cult group in the area, Tunde Awokoya, 36, alias Chop-Up, one Gabriel and another unnamed man.

Meanwhile, it was later gathered that the Aye group, targeted Chop-Up, who had gone to a beer-parlor on Abiodun Street to cool off and murdered him there.

However, report gathered said that some of his members, who were with him, went on a rampage, snuffing the life out of Gabriel, who was at a barber’s shop.

As of 12:00 am, the bodies of the deceased were said to be lying on the street.
