Deep Secrets Every Parent Must Know

There are institutions, there are organizations, there are churches who do not do any evangelism and yet the churches are full.
Why? Because they introduced their children to Church early, push them into it at a very tender age. They have a ready made supply. You’ll never see them on the street doing evangelism.
There is a very terrible and dicey situation facing us now. The other day, we held a meeting with teenage children; what they said about their parents and homes was difficult to believe. G.O left the meeting having serious headache.
There are many teenage children in Mountain Of Fire and Miracles Ministries(MFM)whose parents were not members of Mountain Of Fire and Miracles Ministries(MFM), Some were contemplating suicide, some have their fathers sleeping with them, some see their fathers bringing home strange women to sleep with and some see their father beat up their wives to the point that children cry and cry begging them to stop fighting.
There are no delinquent children, what we have is delinquent parents.
One of the most horrible things I have ever seen as a pastor, was when one man came crying to me saying, ‘’ man of God, please, please, take this bag of multi million naira and please pray for me so that I can sleep I have many serious bad dreams’’ As G.O said, Father in the name of Jesus, He heard a strong voice saying ‘son, don’t pray, ask him where is his mother’. He felt like a dead man when I asked and said he killed his mother for ritual and buried her bones somewhere in the house.
There are terrible situation of children who don’t respect anybody, there is a terrible situation of children who don’t have an idea of how to follow constituted authority.
In our days, when teachers enter the classroom ; students will be afraid. But , the reverse is the case today. I was notified about a school that some students tied up their principal to a chair and beat him up.
There are now children armed robbers, children smokers, and very rude children. The mean that to have a happy home, apart from talking about husbands and wives, we also need to talk about parenting.
You cannot give what you yourself don’t have. As a Father or Mother,If you don’t read your bible, you don’t pray, you don’t have love your spouse and very selfish. How possible is it for you to train your child the right way?
I was invited as a guest speaker to a teenage program. I said all you girls stand up, how many of you wants to marry a husbands like your fathers? remain standing, only one girl was standing; the rest of them hissed and sat down.
I’ve seen a man beating his wife until she was wounded and fainted. He carried her to the hospital to treat her in the watchful eyes of his young daughter. May the Lord forgive those parents who have failed God in the name of Jesus.
Unless you understand the principle of parenting, you will make a mess of it.
What is parenting?
1. It is a call to serve God by helping Him preserve the next generation.
2. A calling to make children serve God who will populate the kingdom of God and depopulate the kingdom of darkness.
3. It’s a privilege to affect the next generation for God.
4. It is accountability and responsibility.
5. Parenting will soon be over and stop when that child gets married. We need to work fast and work hard.
6. It is like farming, a good farmer will tell you that weeding is a continuous process. Helping children to fulfill their potentials by mentoring them with Godly principles and standards.
7. Parenting is a joint work, husband and wife must work together to bring up their children in the way of the Lord.
8. Parenting cannot be delegated. Nobody can help you raise your children. School teachers cannot, preachers cannot, even lesson teachers cannot.
9. Parenting is very rewarding, if you do it well, you will enjoy it for life. No vacation, you cannot say you’re too tired to take care of them.
10. Parenting needs prayer. The greatest weapon is your prayer. You cannot be everywhere with your children but your prayer can be everywhere with your children. You have the capacity to pray for them to make right decisions in life. When your ability to bring up your children is deficient, it is then you will go to school and be cursing their teachers in their presence.
Many years ago, a girl came to meet me and asked ‘’what does it mean when they say: your head has ‘gbabode’?’’ Meaning your head is bewitched. She said: mummy says that to me all the time.
You are here, and you’re buying all strange materials even the ones you don’t wear on your children and you said you don’t want them to look too serious.
-Your children are interrupting you when you’re speaking with an adult and you said that they’re clever and bold, it is not good training. Calling your driver his driver and allowing your Children to be disrespectful to them is very wrong.
-When your children cannot play with less privileged children, your parenting is deficient.
-When your children don’t knock on doors when coming into your room, your parenting is deficient. When your children have become experts at telling lies, then your parenting is deficient.
Bottomline: These are the things we need to look at in this teaching series. Make them Bible and prayer addicts, then this is a good start.
Prayer Rain:
1. By fire by force, O God arise and make me unstoppable in the name of Jesus.
2. Power assigned to stop my light from shining, die in the name of Jesus.
3. Every demotion and stagnation assigned my destiny, scatter in the name of Jesus.
4. Powers that hates my existence, you’re a liar, die in my place in the name of Jesus.
5. Every power mocking God in m life, your time is up, die in the name of Jesus.
6. O God arise, and do what the world will make you know that you’re my God in the name of Jesus.
7. Voices from the grave, I’m not candidate, shut up in the name of Jesus.
8. Power of discouragement, wither and dry up in the name of Jesus.
9. Every demonic foundation troubling my destiny, clear away in the name of Jesus.
10. Powers of repeated problems, I’m not your candidate, die in the name of Jesus.
11. Powers assigned to turn my glory to shame, your time is up, die in the name of Jesus.
12. Demonic grave diggers assigned me this year, fall into your own grave in the name of Jesus.
13. Every trap assigned to catch my feet, catch your owner in the name of Jesus.
14. Every power holding my laughter, die in the name of Jesus (pray it three hot times)
15. All my blessing that are still in 2017, locate me by fire in the name of Jesus.
16. My Father, help me by power and strengthen me in the name of Jesus.
17. Powers that cannot be mocked or insulted, fall upon me now in the name of Jesus
18. Powers locking up my portion, release my key in the name of Jesus
19. Every assignment of the spirit of disgrace against my life, die in the name of Jesus
20. (Clap your hands while praying this prayer) Any power assigned to use me as a sacrifice this year, die in the name of Jesus.
