Ghanaian Comedian Benson, Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, has revealed that his ex-wife’s hefty ‘behind’ and hips were what lured him into the marriage with her, recounting that it was a mistake he greatly regrets.
Funny Face who played the role of driver’s mate in (Ghanaian soap) TV3 sitcom ‘Chorkor Tro Tro’ where he was known as Chemu said his “useless” marriage to Elisabeth Adjoa Ntim ended in divorce because she committed 36 ‘sins’ which were “worse than killing”.
In an interview with Ghanaian UTV, Funny face said: “My marriage was a useless mistake,”
Funny Face said some of his ex-spouse’s other sins were worse than adultery. There are some speculations that his ex-wife was sleeping around with friends of her husband.
“I didn’t do my homework well before marrying her. Big buttocks and hips pushed me into marrying her,” he said,
Funny face who said he installed a tracker in his ex-wife’s car which recorded all her sins. He has, however, decided not to speak about it since January 2016.
Funny face added that “I almost committed suicide but the gun wouldn’t shoot when I pulled the trigger”.
“What I’ve been through is worse than killing… I’ve moved on, but I’m hurt because of the lies people are peddling about me,” he said.
According to Funny Face, he said he had learnt his lessons and so did his homework in choosing his current partner whose character “I saw before I saw her buttocks”.
He added “her vision, simplicity, what she wants to do in life and her love for kids” made him choose her.
