As the Lagos State Government shut down some roads at Agege area of the State, many people are now suffering the effect.

Lagos State Government in the bid to start the project to build a fly over bridge at Agege road has shut down Agege Pen Cinema road which commuters use to connect Iyana Ipaja and Oshodi.

Cars and buses heading to Oshodi, Iyana Ipaja now have to connect the road there by connecting capitol road from besides Guiness building at Oba Akran, Ikeja Lagos.
On the night of Thursday, 4th January 2018 many who have to go from Ikeja to Agege were delayed at the bus stop as there were no buses to move them down to Agege.

Another aspect that dailyfamily.ng discovered was that the commercial drivers have now increased the transport fare as they claim there was too much traffic on the way. On Thursday night, each person going to Agege from Ikeja paid an amount of #200.
The commercial drivers were lamenting that despite the fuel scarcity, they still have to spend long hours in traffic.

Many who could not get buses to board had to trek down to Ogba road. Dailyfamily.ng gathered that many were complaining of the stress that awaits them when work resumes fully.
