They were bundled out of the CAF Champions league by Zamalek of Egypt and about crashing out of the Confederations Cup by Zesco United of Zambia where they played a 2-2 draw.
Zesco United has been on impressive form as the second leg in Zambia will be a mere formality.
He fired the Enugu Rangers International to glory by winning the NPFL league title last season after 32 years.

Mr Foster Chime an official of the club has confirmed that talks are on going concerning the next line of action to be taken after coach Imama has been shown the exit door.
Coach Imama got offers from Akwa United after winnind the league for Rangers International but decided to stay with the Flying Antelopes.
He was tied down to an improved two year deal immeadiately he won the league title for the Coal City based Club.
No doubt Imama’s name will go down in history in the books of Enugu Rangers International and the Nigerian Professional Football League in Nigeria.
We will keep our fingers crossed as we look forward to know who the next Enugu Rangers would be.
